If you are anything like me, you have at least three things going on at any one time. It’s not even 10 a.m. Monday morning and already my task list has 10 things on it. In order to keep things under control, I use a simple note pad and tick off the list as I go. That way I can keep the notepad right next to the computer and when I get lost in a web of what’s happening (did you hear this morning Nintendo is coming out with a new game system next year?), all I have to do is look down at my list to get back on track.
There is no doubt that keeping a list is a great way to get organized. Now some people may actually put on more stress when confronted by the daunting list of making demands on them, but my advice is to take a deep breath and work on the simplest task first. Just having one item nixed from the list can be a sigh of relief and enough to get you motoring through the rest of the list.
I have used online task lists before, but I can’t remember the name and I just downloading the Errands To-Do List app for the iPhone. I’ll give the app a go, but honestly have yet to find anything as simple and effective as a simple paper notepad.
